Hello and welcome to my website JWildlife.

I grew up in the Kent countryside close to the then working Hop Farm in Beltring , where I developed a love for all things wild at a young age with my Dad. I spent my childhood as an active member of various wildlife clubs like Watch & YOC where we learnt all about the British wildlife and completed ringing and surveys.

When I left school I decided to join the Royal Navy and had a great 10 years service , where I served as an engineer. During this time I visited Antarctica twice on HMS Endurance the highlight of my career ! I now work within the Building Services Industry and live in South East London.

After leaving the forces I started to spend a lot more time again in the UK countryside which inspired me to take up wildlife photography a few years ago.
